Donna Jean Miller, 74, of Lakewood, passed away January 14, 2015.
She was born December 6, 1940 in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Everett and Clara (Fields) Holschuh. Spending her early life in and around the Cleveland area until she moved to Colorado in the early 1970's. In 1974 she married Edwin Miller, four years later, she gave birth to her first son, John, followed by Eddie and David. Her children were always her most cherished loved ones. In the early 1980's, Donna and her family moved to Oceanside, California where she raised her family. In 1993, Donna and her family moved back into the Denver area to be closer to her extended family.
All her life, Donna gave generously of her time and love, not only to her family, but so many others, some of which she never met. Above all, Donna's passion in life was raising and caring for her three sons. She would do anything for anyone, but the needs of her children always came first.
She was diagnosed with breast cancer and fought courageously for over 20 years. Her will to live on and be with her family far outweighed her illness. She was excited when her son John married Michelle and they gave her her first grandson, Austin, the joy of her life. Donna loved us all and she will be greatly missed.
Donna is survived by three sons, John (Michelle) Miller, Herbert Edwin Miller, Jr., David W. Miller; grandson, Austin Thomas Miller; four brothers, Raymond Kent (Linda) Holschuh, Robert Darrel Holschuh, Ronald Vance (Diane) Holschuh, David Lee Holschuh; and sister-in-law, Dolores Holschuh. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Elizabeth Voll; and brother, Charles Everett Holschuh.
Donna will be laid to rest at Golden Cemetery in Golden, CO.
