Donna Mary Switzer

The heavens above gained a sweet soul full of laughter and kindness on Saturday, September 13, 2025, when Donna Mary Switzer (née Clark) peacefully passed away. Surrounded by the love of her family, near and far, Donna left this world with grace.

Born on May 10, 1944, in Charlevoix, Michigan, she was the cherished daughter of Donald William and Martha Marie Clark (née Gay). Donna was a devoted daughter and a loyal sister to her five siblings - Clint, David, Fred, Donald, and Anne. She was predeceased by her parents and by her brothers Fred, Donald, and David. As a mother, she was caring and dependable to her three children—Donald, Michael, and Terisa—and she found joy and wonder in her eight grandchildren.

In her 81 years of life, Donna delighted in life’s simple pleasures: staying in touch with family, savoring good food and Bronco football games, and surprising everyone with her knack for winning BINGO, Wii Bowling, and just about any friendly competition she tried. She wasn’t afraid to show when she wasn’t pleased, but her good humor and warmth always returned just as quickly, leaving no grudges behind.

Donna will be laid to rest in her hometown of East Jordan. A celebration of her life will take place next year, when flowers bloom and trees are green with life - just as she would have wanted.
