Doris Bankert

Doris Lucille Bankert, 89, passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 23rd, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 30th, 1936 in Merriam, Kansas but called Aurora CO her home

for most of her life. She is survived by her loving children, Ron Anderson (Sharon Anderson), Shelley Anderson/Mortensen (Kyle Mortensen) and Barbara Adams; her cherished grandchildren, Brent, Nini, Kolton, Jake, Ryker, Rachel, Dylan, Sarah, Shyanne, Lacee and their families. And Her loving brothers and sisters; Diana Hickman, Donna Barton, Fran Archuletta and Wayne Vaughn. And many beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents Carrie and Bigie Vaughn, her brothers Eugene Vaughn, Norman Vaughn, Raymond Vaughn and sister Dorothy Dills. Her beloved husbands Glen Anderson and Nevin Bankert. As well as her beloved daughter Dannette Collier and granddaughter Leah Collier and is now reunited with them in eternal peace.

Though she will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort in knowing she is now in the presence of the Lord. Her strength, selflessness, comfort, guidance, love, and unwavering support will forever be remembered.
