Doris Branstad, 93, of Aurora, CO, passed away January 6, 2015.
She was born February 24, 1921 in Centuria, Wisconsin, the daughter of Willard and Vola (Moody) Heisley. On March 11, 1949 she married Marvin Branstad.
Doris is preceded in death by her Husband, Marvin Branstad,Son, Dennis Branstad, Father, Willard Heisley, Mother, Vola Heisley, Son-in-law, Gerald Lee and her Sisters and their spouses, Ruth (Elmer) Schaar, Mabel (Willard) Wedeking, Juneal Heisley and Elaine, Clayton (Buster) Esse. She is survived by her Daughter, Merle D. Lee, Daughter-in-law, Theresa, Grandson, Kevin Branstad, his wife, Susan and their children; Nicole, Emily and Joey, Grandson, Brian Branstad, his wife, Jodi and their children; Jesse, Tyler, Kristen and Dominic, Granddaughter, Brenda Gutting and her child, Alexis, Grandson Matt Gutting, his wife, Brenda and their children; Amanda and Dylan, Numerous Nieces and Nephews.
She enjoyed playing Bingo and keeping busy on her iPad by surfing the web, playing Solitaire and staying in touch with family and friends through e-mail.
