Dorothea Ann Daddato

Dorothea Ann Daddato passed away on Friday August 1, 2025 at the age of 93. Dorothea was born to Emily and Thomas Crowley on July 19, 1932 in Bronx, New York. There she met the love of her life Michael Daddato. The couple were happily married for 63 years until her love passed on September 19, 2015. She always held a special place in her heart for New York City and her husband‘s Italian heritage. The couple belonged to the Sons of Italy, where they made many lasting friends. Dorothea was the first female dispatcher for the Aurora Police Department where she worked for 20 years until she retired. She was a loving mother and grandmother to children, Michael Jr. (Barbara), Robert (Jeanne), Donna (John) Cervanyk, Dorothy Kogl, James, Edward, Kenneth (Angie), 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandsons. Dorothea was also survived by two brothers, James Crowley of New Zealand and Laurence (Sandra) Crowley of San Francisco, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Dorothea is preceded in death by husband Michael Sr, son Michael Jr, sister Virginia Jordon, and brothers Patrick and Francis Crowley.
