Dorothy Marie Elpers, 96, of Strasburg, passed away May 5, 2017.
She was born December 7, 1920 in Muenster, Texas, the daughter of John and Matilda (Ostrawski) Wimmer. On October 22, 1955 she married Joseph Albert Elpers, of Strasburg, Colorado.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Jennifer (Peter) Wells, Cecil (Susan) Elpers, and Janet (Michael) Burroughs; five grandchildren, Brian (Marlyn) Elpers, Christopher Elpers, Kevin Elpers, Nichole (Anthony) Welch, and Sean Burroughs; five great-grandchildren, Gavin Welch, Guinevere Welch, Valkyrie Elpers, Melanie Elpers, and Thomas Elpers. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Albert Elpers and parents, John and Matilda Wimmer.
