Dorothy Corena Hajovsky of Aurora, Colorado passed away on October 17, 2011. She was 82.
Dorothy was born in Kansas City, MO to Gustav and Zella Aschman in 1928. She graduated from Mt. Carmel High School in 1946 and St. Francis School of Nursing in 1949, both in Wichita, KS.
Dorothy continued her nursing in the emergency room at St. Francis Hospital and The Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, KS. She also served as a representative in the Emergency Department Nursing Association (EDNA) and presided over a five state region.
In 1984 she relocated to Colorado with her new husband and retired from nursing. She is preceded in death by her husband, J.J. Hajovsky and a half sister, Barbara Sadkin.
Dorothy is survived by her sister, Patricia Brown (Courtney) and by her three children, Sandra (Todd), Steven (Sonja) and Susan (Walter). She has five grand children and one great-grand daughter.
Dorothy will be missed by her family and many friends.
