Douglas Brott

Douglas L. Brott Jr., age 63, of Lakewood died on Friday, January 13th. He was born on November 14, 1953 to Douglas L. Brott Sr. and Shirley Brott and grew up in Edgewater, CO. Doug graduated from Jefferson High School.

Doug was a loyal employee of the Jefferson County School System where he worked as a custodian for 25 years. He never let the teachers or students down during inclement weather as he always provided a safe path to school. He was a Broncos fan. Knowing Doug was knowing a real "car guy" and his love for "muscle cars and mopar" has prompted his request for a very casual ceremony. "Broncos shirts" and "car shirts" are welcome apparel.

Doug is survived by his son Jeffery A. Brott and his brother Gary Brott. He is preceded in death by his parents and Brother Terry Brott.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Bethlehem Lutheran Scholarship Fund in Lakewood.

A viewing will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home – West Metro Chapel on Wednesday, January 25th from 6pm to 8pm. Services will be Thursday at 10 AM at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Lakewood. Burial to follow at Arvada Cemetery.
