Duane M. Davenport, 86, of Aurora, passed away December 17, 2018.
He was born September 15, 1932 in Kellerton , Iowa, the son of Johnny and Mae (Harris) Davenport. He was a graduate of Kellerton High School. On October 14, 1950 Duane married Jean Beal. Duane and Jean recently celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary.
Duane worked for Public Service throughout his career. He enjoyed hunting, trap shooting, gambling, but above all else, loved spending time with his family.
Duane is survived by his wife, Jean Davenport; son, Dan (Wanda) Davenport; daughter, Denice Glasser; two grandchildren, Tim Davenport and Dustin Davenport; and sister, Carolyn Ethington. He is preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Mae Davenport.
