Eddie Lee Parker, 84, of Denver, passed away January 9, 2017.
He was born March 26, 1932 in Eldorado, Arkansas, the son of Booker and Martha (Stricklin) Parker.
Eddie is survived by his wife, Hannah Vaughn; two sons, Jerry (Betty) Lemmon and Shane Parker; two daughters, Sara (Kelvin) Coleman and Lisa Schlotter; nine grandchildren, Khima Jenkins, Jhara Avant, Chiniqua Jackson, Dominique Jackson, Sasha Jackson, Denzel Lemmon, Tyler Schlotter, Jordan Schlotter and Haylee Peters; three great-grandchildren, Ashanti Lemmon, Nathaniel Jenkins and Taliyah Griffin; three siblings, Willie B. (Cozy) Parker, Rodessa Simmons, and Calvin Parker; sister-in-law, Barbara Price; two long time neighbors Ben Whisenton and Lee Chambers; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Booker T. and Martha Parker; and six siblings, Ida Mae Roots, James Parker, Booker T. Parker Jr, Flossie Cornell, Odessa Parish, and J.H. Parker.
