Edgar Neal Hinrichs
December 14, 1922 — December 20, 2016
Neal died peacefully in Lakewood, CO on 12/20/16 surrounded by his family. He had his 94th birthday the previous week and he lived a good life which was long and fruitful.
He was born in Manhattan, NY, graduated from Oberlin College and later Cornell Univ., and worked for the USGS. Neal mapped the west with his family accompanying him in the summers. He was an avid swimmer and rode his bike to work in the early 1950's. He is survived by his brother, three sons and four grown grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
The service and internment is at Montview Blvd. Presbyterian Church, 1980 Dahlia St. in Denver. CO on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. with a reception to follow
