Edith B. Jones

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, Edith Jones of Lakewood, Colorado, passed away on September 20, 2012 at age 91. She was born on September 30, 1920, in Berlin, Germany.

She was married to Floyd Jones for 54 wonderful years until he suddenly died in 2002. Her life centered around the happiness of her husband, three daughters and their families. Edith is survived by two of her daughters, four granddaughters, one grandson, and their families which include three great granddaughters.

Edith enjoyed sharing amusing stories about her grandchildren and great grandchild and her life in Germany. In her earlier years, she liked swimming, ice skating and hiking and played various musical instruments. She always loved music, arts and crafts, and was an outstanding seamstress who could create and recover anything from a quality wedding dress to repairing a favorite blankie or recovering the living room couch or even a car seat. Her work spoke for itself.

She will remain in the hearts of many and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
