Edna Ruth Windlinx, 90 passed away Saturday January 9, 2016 at her home in Bailey, Colorado.
Edna was born May 18, 1925 to Percy Augustus Sease and Bertha Viola Bonderman-Sease at the family farm in Genoa, Colorado.
On May 19, 1946 she married Leroy Alfred Windlinx in Long Beach, California. Together they raised three daughters, Maureen Eyvonne, Patricia Anne and Katherine Lynne. Edna enjoyed sewing, gardening and lapidary art. She made beautiful quilts and jewelry. She also enjoyed traveling and making new friends. Edna loved flowers and always had a beautiful rose garden to tend.
Edna attended the First Southern Baptist Church of Yucca Valley, California where she worked in the nursery tending the young children. She was involved in many church activities such as the Church Bazaar and Women's Fellowship.
Edna is survived by her daughters: Patricia Anne Windlinx of Bailey, Colorado and significant other Doug Heiliger; and Katherine Lynne McCallum and husband, Donald McCallum of Lodgepole, Nebraska; her brother John Sease of Albia, Iowa; six grandchildren: Leasa, Donna, Victoria, Deanna, Lance and Steven; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Leroy and daughter Maureen Eyvonne Jepsen, five sisters, one brother and longtime companion Velden "Dave" Davison.
