Edward Bormann

July 27, 1939 — April 19, 2012

Edward A. (Butch) Bormann was born July 27, 1939 to Edward P. Bormann and Zella Mae (Allen) Bormann, who both predeceased him. Ed went into eternal rest on April 19, 2012 surrounded by family.

Ed was born in Rome, N.Y. where he lived until 1996 at which time he moved to Aurora Colorado for the remainder of his life.

Ed married Susan K. (Finnegan)(Hughes) Bormann in 1984, and acquired his beloved son Bryan Hughes the same day.

Ed worked at Camden Wire until his retirement in 1990.

Ed was preceded in death by one brother, Donald and one sister, Raye Phyllis Russell, and brother-in-law Patrick Finnegan.

Ed is survived by his wife of 34 years Susan, son Bryan (Tracy) Hughes and two grandchildren, Alexander and Katelyn Hughes of Centennial, Colorado. Sister Dorothy (Neil) Wood of Bernhards Bay, NY, Erma Gerow of Rome NY, Zella Fern Taylor of Rome, NY. Brother-in-law Peter (Jamie) Finnegan of Aurora, Colorado. Sister-in-law Linda (Patrick) Finnegan on Philadelphia, Pa. and numerous nieces and nephews.

The services for Ed will be held on Friday, May 4th 2012 at 10:00 a.m., at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Aurora Colorado, with burial to follow at Ft. Logan cemetery at 1:30 p.m.

Donations in Ed's name in lieu of flowers to Alzheimer's Association of Colorado, 455 Sherman St. Ste 500, Denver, Co. 80203. Ed was involved with this group as several family members were effected by it.
