Dr. Edward J. Sainz

Dr. Edward Joseph Sainz, Sr. passed away at the age of 90 on March 15, 2016 at St. Anthony's Hospital in Lakewood, Colorado. He was born on June 11, 1925.
Edward is an Honored Veteran who served his country in the Navy during World War II and Korea. After returning home he had many careers but finally found his true calling as a minister serving the Lord. He continued to spread the word of God until he was called to heaven.
Edward is survived by his wife Tillie, five children: Edward Joseph Jr., "Phil" Phyillis, Edward Duane "Poncho", Albert and JoAnn, as well as his numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Edward is preceded in death by his son Larry Sainz.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 25, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home in Lakewood at 11:30 am with burial to follow at Fort Logan National Cemetery. A reception will be announced following the burial.
