Edwin C. "Papa" Harned was born February 19,1929 in Fulton Kansas. He
passed away May 8, 2017 in his home in Aurora, Colorado.
He is survived by his loving wife, Wilma C. "Honey" Harned. Also survived by his son, Tom
Harned (wife Joan) and his daughter, Barbara Harmes, two grandsons,
Corey Harned (wife Catherine), and Jeffrey "JT" (wife LeeAnn). He was also
very blessed with 9 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Also survived by three sisters, Julia, Darlene, and Leona and many nieces
and nephews.
Until his health would no longer allow him to, he was very active in several
Masonic lodges in the Metropolitan area, The Masonic Officers Association
and their high school scholarship program honoring outstanding high
school students. He took great pride in being able to acknowledge the
accomplishments of these young people and awarding them scholarships
to help with their further education.
Ed had such a wonderful impact on so very many peoples lives in his 88
years of life. He was a loving and devoted family man. He and his wife
Willie (Honey) shared a life and love that was a beautiful, amazing thing to
see.
He was at the very core of all that we are as a family.
