Effie A. Thompson

Effie Arlene Breckenridge-Thompson, born on April 4, 1919, in Hennessey, Oklahoma. She was the forth child of eight children born to Joseph and Mariah Breckenridge.
She attended Hennessey Dunbar Elementary and High Schools. Throughout the years of her life she furthered her education and thus retired from the Chicago, Illinois School system.
She married Edward L. Thompson on November 19, 1938. From this union, four children were conceived; the first child was a miscarriage. Their first born is Edward J. Thompson who was born December 7, 1941, seven years later Theresa A. Thompson was born, and seven years later a third child, Kathe M. Thompson was born.
Effie leaves her sister, Novella Hines, her son Edward, two daughters, Theresa and Kathe. She also leaves to cherish her memory, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, other relatives and a host of friends.
