Eileen H. Wildhagen entered into the Kingdom of Heaven on Tuesday, November 21, 2017. Her funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 5, at Newcomer, located at 901 S. Sheridan Blvd. Lakewood, CO 80226. Viewing from 10:00 to 10:30am followed by Mass at 10:30am. Lunch reception to follow at Newcomer. Committal will be held at Ft. Logan National Cemetery at 2:15 for those wishing to join the family.
Eileen was born to William and Margaret McIntosh in Denver, CO on November 16, 1926.
She was a loving wife to Lloyd M Wildhagen. Lloyd and Eileen met while both were employed at the Denver Board of Water Works. They were married June 2, 1951 and were married fo 52 years. Her husband, Lloyd, preceded her in death on March 20, 2004. They will now be joined together in Heaven for eternity.
Eileen was a devoted mother to Dwayne Lloyd Wildhagen and Linda Eileen Krueger (Loren) who loved her very much and will miss her deeply. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Jason Krueger, Jeremy Marchbank (Becky), Jylinda Phalan (Josh), Matthew Wildhagen (Faby) and Michael Wildhagen. She also was great-grandmother to Avery Krueger, Reagan Marchbank, Jesse Marchbank, Kiri Wildhagen and Cormac Phalan.
Eileen's siblings who preceded her in death are Charles McIntosh, Genevieve (William) Sullivan, James (Glennie) McIntosh and Isabel (John) Lancaster.
Eileen was loved deeply by her nieces and nephews; Carole (Michael) Murdock, Daniel (Linda) Sullivan, Margaret (Paul) Kientz, Michael (Christine) McIntosh, David McIntosh. She also is survived by many great nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Eileen Wildhagen worked outside her home in her earlier years, but will mostly be remembered as a devoted wife and mother. She loved her family.
