Elijah Watts, Jr. , 79, of Denver, passed away July 5, 2016.
He was born April 18, 1937 in Coffeyville, Kansas, the son of Elijah and Doshia (Perry) Watts, Sr.
Elijah graduated from Field Kindley Memorial High School in 1955. After graduating from high school he moved to Denver, Colorado. After a brief stay in Denver he moved to Compton, California to live with his cousin Marie before eventually returning to Denver. On March 20, 1970, he married Angela Elizabeth DeHerrera in Denver, Co. They were married for 46 years filled with many memories. He retired from Gates Rubber Company after 25 years of service in the mid 1990's.
He is survived by his Wife, Angie Watts; Son, Michael A. (Paula) Watts; Two Sisters, Beulah Shields, Australia Jackson; Three Grandchildren, Michael A. (Antoinette) Watts II, Morgan K. Watts, Quinton E. Watts; Two Great Grandchildren, Chase A. Watts, Carter A. Watts. He is preceded in death by Father, Elijah Watts, Sr., Mother, Doshia Watts, Brother, William Watts, Brother, Earl Alexander, Brother, Lawrence Alexander, Sister, Helen Stokes.
