Elizabeth Ann Roberts (Swingle)

Elizabeth Ann Roberts (Swingle), 33, of Broomfield, Colorado passed away June 29, 2014.

Elizabeth Ann Roberts, 33 years old, went home with the Lord on Sunday, June 29, 2014, at home in Denver, Colorado, after a courageous battle with brain cancer.

Born September 28, 1980, in Honesdale, Pa., Elizabeth was the daughter of Althea Swingle Poltanis, Honesdale, and the late Paul Arthur Swingle.

She attended schools in the Wayne Highlands School District and was a graduate of Honesdale High School, Class of 1999.

Elizabeth attended Mansfield University and graduated with a Business Administration degree in 2003.

She was a member of the Honesdale Gospel Tabernacle Church, Honesdale, prior to moving to Colorado where she met and married her husband, Timothy Roberts, on November 20, 2004. Elizabeth worked in her chosen field prior to becoming a loving mother in 2010 to son, Ian Paul Roberts.

She loved her very large extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins often visiting the Wayne County area. Elizabeth enjoyed traveling to new places. The last four years of her life was dedicated to raising her son Ian who brought joy to her life each day.

Her Christian values were evident to all who knew her.

Elizabeth is survived by her loving Husband, Tim; Son, Ian; Mother, Althea Poltanis; Brother, Andrew Swingle; and numerous family and friends. She is preceded in death by her Father, Paul.
