Elizabeth "Beth" Weaver

May 25, 1930 — March 21, 2016

Blanche Elizabeth Dolan Weaver was born May 25, 1930 on a farm in Red Willow County, Nebraska to Bernard and Blanche (Nickerson) Dolan. She passed from this life on March 21, 2016 in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.

Beth attended school in Indianola, Nebraska. She married Don Springer in 1946. To this union were born two children, Gerald (Jerry) and Linda. After divorcing, Beth lived in several places but her heart always led her back to Denver, Colorado. She was a clerk at Safeway for many years, then an organizer for Retail Clerks Union. She was an active member of the Eagles Club for several years. Beth enjoyed life and she said many times that if she had to choose she would rather dance than eat.

Beth was preceded in death by her parents, infant daughter Patricia, her sister Gerri, and brothers LeRoy, Harlan, Philip, and Daniel.

She is survived by her children, Jerry Springer and Linda (Dave) Hermes; four grandchildren, Chris, Shawn, and Brett Springer and Michael Hermes; sister and brother-in-law, Darlene and Harold Baker; two sisters-in-law, Opal Dolan and Bonnie Dolan; ten great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Wheat Ridge Manor Care Center for their exceptional love and care for Beth during her stay.
