Born on July 8, 1919 in Walsenberg, Colorado and passed away on June 22, 2013 in Littleton, Colorado.
Lizzie is survived by her daughter, Margie Maes; brother, Gilbert (Jenny) Martinez; sister, Gloria Ruiz; grandchildren: Richard (Donna) Maes; Susan (Fred) Rodriguez, Patricia (Phillip) Ortega; Lita Maes, Linda (John) Kadnuck, Natalie (Mark) Chicado; great-grandchildren: Richard, Jennifer, Vanesa, Fred, Dawn, Joshua, Jessie, Amado, Antonio, P.J., Monica, Ryan, Alyssa, and Amanda. Also survived by 15 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her husband, Frank; daughter, Becky; grandson, Amado Maes; and several brothers and sisters.
Memorial Service to be held on Monday, July 1st at 10:00 a.m., preceded by a viewing from 9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, West Metro Chapel followed by cremation.
