Elmer E. Strausheim

Elmer passed away of cancer June 10, 2013. He was Born in Greeley, CO to Molley & Conrad Strausheim on September 7, 1922.

Elmer went to School in Greeley and worked at the Great Western Sugar Factory for many years. He then enlisted in the Army Air Corp as a pilot and served in World War II an then the Korean War. He was a tech-sergeant and he served 22 years. He met Nancy Ann Chapman and they were married in February of 1941. He retired from Binks Research & Development.

Elmer is survived by his son Jerry and friend Diana; granddaughters Brandy Bidwell and husband Steve and Cindy Strausheim; five great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by friends Cheryl Ravithis-Fendrich, Dennis Fendrich, Wanda Shelby and Alberta Wrightbolt. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Nancy, son Steve Strausheim, daughter Sue Strausheim, his parents and sister Viola Brewster. May they all rest in peace.
