Eriberto 'Bob' Natividad, 82, of Denver, passed away September 26, 2017.
He was born March 27, 1935 in El Paso, Texas, the son of Francisco and Apolonia (Natividad) Rios.
He married Maria Rios in 1953 in Platteville, CO at St. Nicholas Catholic Church. They later divorced but remained lifelong friends.
Bob was a dedicated mechanic. He loved to bake and cook. He would make bird houses and garden furniture from wood. Bob enjoyed gardening. He loved his dogs and at one time, he had 5 dogs. He was an avid Denver Broncos fan and would loved to watch football with his daughter, Rosy. In younger years, he enjoyed smoking a pipe with cherry tobacco to relax. Bob also enjoyed collecting coins. His favorite movie was "Pretty Woman" (or as he called it, "Pretty Lady"). Above all, he was a loving father and grandfather. He showed his love by nicknaming each one of his children and grandchildren. Finally, his daughters adored him so much that they gave him the nickname "Pato."
Bob is survived by Two Daughters, Rosemary 'Rosy' (Jose) Cadena and Margaret Ann Garcia; four grandchildren, Regina (Jose Gonzales) Natividad, Alberto Natividad, Manuel Castro and Debbie Cadena; seven great-grandchildren, Manuel Castro, Jr., Nathan Dominguez, Daisy Castro, Anaiza Gonzales, Tatiana Gonzales, Sacheen Gonzales and Alberto Natividad, Jr.; mother of the children, Maria Rios; brother, Ricardo Rios Natividad; sister, Delfina Rios de Garcia and several nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
He is preceded in death by son, Eriberto Natividad, Jr.; grandchild, Ruben Cadena; second wife, Barbara Ann Natividad; five brothers, Cruz Natividad, David Rios, Francisco Botello, Santos Rios and Manuel Natividad; sister, Consuelo Mendoza; father, Francisco Rios and mother, Apolonia Natividad.
