Ernest Bustamante
November 26, 1921 — July 15, 2015
Ernest Bustamante, beloved husband and father, aged 93, passed away July 18, 2015. He is survived by his wife Dolores and daughters Pauline and Anita, three grandsons and four great-grandsons. His strength of character and enthusiasm for life will be missed.
Ernest lead an extraordinary life. Born November 26, 1921 from humble beginnings, he graduated West High School in 1940 and joined the medical corps, serving in WWII's European Arena from 1941-1945. He attended the University of Denver and Kansas City Western Dental School, becoming one of the first Hispanic dentists in the Denver area. He participated in many community organizations and was a great believer in the power of education. His great love—the game of golf!
Please join us in celebration of his life on August 7, 2015, 11:30-12:30, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 901 S. Sheridan in Lakewood.
