Ernestine Alcantar

Ernastine Alcantar, 88, of Aurora passed away on Tuesday December 31, 2014 after a long illness.
Erna was born March 7, 1926 to the late Johann and Katharina (Stahl) Gressl in Straubing Germany. She married the late Rufus Alcantar settling in Colorado. She shared the last 16 years with long time friend Arnold Krieger.
Erna completed school in Straubing Germany later obtaining her Cosmetology license. After relocating to the US she worked developing crime scene photo's. She had also owned a restaurant business at one time.
Erna would often say that one of her greatest achievements was obtaining her US citizenship. Erna enjoyed many years with life long friend Crystl Ashton selling and collecting tickets at the Edelweiss Club.
Erna is survived by her daughter, Evelyn Fournier. Three Grandchildren, Collene Jeffers, Christine Fournier, and Michael Fournier, all of Massachusetts.
