Ernesto Nestor Martinez , 70, of Denver, passed away March 3, 2015.
He was born September 12, 1944 in Eaton, Colorado, the son of Samuel and Elizabeth (Ortega) Martinez.
Ernesto is survived by his children, Elizabeth Martinez, Michaela (Justin Mills) Martinez, Marcus (Evita Lerma) Martinez, and Christian Martinez; three grandchildren, Ian Martinez, Graeme Day, and Donovan Lerma-Martinez; one great-grandchild, Judah Martinez; brother, Charles (Julia) Martinez; close friends, Billy (Veronika) Monaghan, and Bruce Kent. He is preceded in death by his father, Samuel Martinez, Sr.; mother, Elizabeth Martinez; brothers, Toby Martinez, Samuel Martinez, Jr., David Martinez, Anthony Martinez; and sister, Rosalie Martinez.
A memorial service will be held at 11am on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Saint Dominic Catholic Church, 2905 Federal Blvd, Denver, CO 80211. Immediately following the services, the family will go to The Dive Inn at 1384 S. Broadway, Denver, CO. 80210.
