Esther S. Brewer, 86, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2026, in Denver, Colorado.

Esther was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Floyd Brewer Jr., and her daughter, Sarah Smith. She is survived by her children, Daniel Brewer, Ruth Brewer-Kronberg, and David Brewer; her grandchildren, Tim Smith, Bethany Williams, Rachel Smith, Rebekah Alexander, and Evan Brewer; and her great-grandchildren, Noah Williams, Avery Williams, Lydia Smith, Lilly Smith, and Asher smith. She is also survived by a brother, Jonathan Meyer and sister, Lois Powers and preceded in death by both her parents Paul and Mary Meyer and her siblings David Meyer, Marty Hanson , and Ruth Timmons.

Esther will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, devoted wife, faithful servant of Christ, and cherished friend. Her life was marked by compassion, perseverance, generosity, and an unwavering commitment to serving others.

The couple first attended Bethany Bible College, in Santa Cruz, Ca in 1968 before embarking on an intrepid journey of faith as field Christian missionaries (with their 4 small children in tow), traveling by van from the U.S. to Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Argentina.

Esther and Bill served in the mission field in the 60’s and early 70’s. This was a self funded mission that required a lot of faith to embark on this journey in the first place.

Esther and Bill returned to the United States in 1974 and Esther devoted more than 30 years of her professional life to the market research industry. Alongside her husband, Bill, she built a successful market research company, Springs Research, which operated out of the Citadel Mall in Colorado Springs. Through hard work, integrity, and perseverance, they created not only a successful business but also lasting relationships throughout the community.

Service to others was at the heart of Esther's life. Together, Esther and Bill faithfully served those in need by helping feed the hungry and coordinating the delivery of hundreds of tons of food to the Aspen Mine Center in Cripple Creek. In recognition of their dedication and compassion, they were honored with the Teller County Good Samaritan Award in 2014. They also ran a food pantry out of their home.

Esther was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ and attended Radiant Assembly of God for more than 30 years, where she was an active and faithful member. She had a deep desire to share the good news of Christ's redeeming love with everyone she met. Her radiant smile, gentle spirit, and unwavering kindness touched countless lives and softened even the hardest of hearts. Those who knew her often remarked on her patience and grace. She was slow to anger, quick to encourage, and lived her faith through her actions every day.

Among Esther's greatest joys were spending time with family and friends, taking cruises, exploring garage sales and flea markets, and discovering hidden treasures along the way. She found happiness in life's simple pleasures and delighted in sharing those moments with the people she loved.

Above all, Esther will be remembered as a woman of faith, compassion, humility, and enduring love. Her legacy lives on in the family she cherished, the community she served, and the countless lives she influenced through her example of Christian love and generosity.

Though she will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort in knowing that she is now in the presence of her Savior, whom she faithfully served throughout her life.

"Well done, good and faithful servant." —Matthew 25:23
