It is with a heavy heart that the Cisneros family informs family and friends of the unfortunate passing of Esther Cisneros-Perez. Our Heavenly Father has indeed called her home, in our memories and in our hearts, she will always remain.

Esther was born October 6, 1948 in Denver, Colorado to Jean and Gerald Jergensen. She was a loving and devoted sister to Evelyn, Ethel, and Bill. She attended and graduated Abraham Lincoln High School in Denver, Colorado in 1966. Not long after high school she was married to Jerry Cisneros her teenage sweetheart, on January 28, 1967. Esther became a loving mother to three wonderful children, Gail Cisneros , Gerald Regino Cisneros , and Billie Renee Cisneros. Esther and Jerry Cisneros's marriage lasted for sixteen years and ended by divorce January 26, 1983. Esther was later remarried to Jonathan Perez in 1984, and enjoyed a marriage for well over nine years. During Esther and Jon's marriage they opened their home to a foster son, Marcus Jacob Chavez. She was delighted in raising him and teaching him. Esther has nine grandchildren to watch over. Joseph, Danielle, Trey, Tai, Nathan, Alexander, Noah, Olivia, and Zachary. And she also has four great granddaughters to admire. Bella, Lillyana, Bailey, and Brylee.

Many could describe Esther by her kind words, and her big heart for arts and crafts. She was a dedicated seamstress, and loved to go camping. She had a knack for fishing, and crocheting blankets for her many grandchildren. She was never without a friend, and seemed to melt hearts everywhere she went.

The Cisneros family invites you to share the services that celebrate Esther's life. A special viewing and a small service is to be announced, please stay in touch to stay well informed. A private family burial is to follow, with a short reception to share memories with all.
