Eugene Henry Thode, 95, of Thornton, Colorado. Passed away Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at Villa at Sunny Acres in Thornton, Colorado. He was born to parents A.H. and Lottie Thode, September 3, 1916 in Arvada, CO. Eugene is survived by his loving wife Emadee (Gleason) Thode of Thornton, Colorado; sons Thomas Lee (Martha) Thode of Thornton, Colorado, Don E.(Barb) Thode of Montrose, Colorado; and daughter M. Susan (Howard) Knutson of Fremont, California; grandchildren Lisa (Bernie) Martinez, Chad (Jill) Knutson, Stephanie (Brian) Doyle, Zachary (Sherryl) Thode, Heather (Ryan) Thode, Adam (Erica) Thode; great-grandchildren Anna Martinez, Erin Martinez, Parker Thode, Kizzy Thode, Clara Knutson, Kerwood Thode, Janny Knutson, Adelaide Thode and McKenna Doyle. Eugene served his country proudly in the Navy during WWII and the Korean War. Graveside service Thursday, March 8, 2012, at Ft. Logan National Cemetery Staging Area "C" at 1:15 P.M.
