Felix A. Garcia was born September 25, 1939 in Monticello, Utah to parents Juan Garcia and Lucille (Jaramillo) Garcia. He passed away September 1, 2013 at Lutheran Medical Center in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.

Beloved husband of Nellie B. Garcia for 48 years. Dedicated father of Reynel John Garcia and Felicia F. (Neil) Warner. Grandfather of Austin and Garrett Warner. Brother of Mary Ann Ramos, the late Alice Torres, Arcenia "Inez" Tafoya, Anita Chacon, Rita Amaro, Mary Solis, Juanita Martinez (Ray)the late Flora Castro, the late John Maestas, Tony Maestas, Benny Garcia and the late Gilbert Garcia. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mr. Garcia served his country in the United States Air Force from 1956 to 1960 He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 34 years and was a past president of the Mail Handlers Union from 1987 to 1990. He was a Steward in Local Union 321 for 34 years and was instrumental in resolving many employee issues. In this regard, he was recognized as being one of the most well informed representatives of the Mail Handlers Unions.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 2460 W. 26th Avenue, Suite 500C, Denver, Colorado 80211.
