Fernandes "Fernie" Gonzales , 73, of Lakewood, passed away March 16, 2016.
He was born December 15, 1942 in North San Ysidro, New Mexico, the son of Concepcion and Salome (Gonzales) Gonzales.
He was a graduate of Pecos High School in New Mexico. On September 26, 1964, he married Emily Martinez.
He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, gardening, and socializing.
Fernie is survived by wife, Emily Gonzales; Daughter, Patricia Gonzales; Son, Fernie (Lisa) Gonzales; Two Grandchildren, Isaiahs (Loryn) Gonzales and Isaac Gonzales; Three Great-Grandchildren, Kayo DeLeon, Lazailo Gonzales and Zayne Gonzales; Four Sisters, Eutimia Aragon, Nemoria (the late Inez) Aragon, Mary (Seferino) Gonzales and Olivia (Ysidro) Aragon; Brother, Cipriano (Fedelina) Gonzales; and Many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
He is preceded in death by Father, Concepcion Gonzales, Mother, Salome Gonzales and Son, Frank Romero.
