She was born February 6, 1927 in Roswell, NM, the daughter of Manuel & Conception (Chavez) Trujillo. Wife of the late Miguel Lucero. Mother of: Michael (Janet) Lucero; Joe (Teresa Rodriquez) Lucero; Rosa (Roy Bojorquez) Clouse; Augie (Shirley) Lucero; Esther (Dwayne O'Neal) Compos; Betty (Tomas) Madrigal: Grandmother of: Michelle (Dennis), David, Adam, Aron, Joe, Jr. (Jennifer), Anthony (Jeanea), Renee (Nelson III), Michael (Jasmine), Justin, Nichole, Joshua, Anessa, Desiree (Darryl, Jr.), Jazmin; Great Grandmother of: Donavan, Brittney, Alexander, Adam, Jr., Jacob, Devin, Brittney, Charlotte, Jordan, Alexandria, Leioka, LeAndra, Mariah, Darryl III; Sister of Lucy Gutierrez and Acasio Trujillo; Friend of Olga Arroys.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 3rd from 6 pm - 6:30 pm with a Rosary at 6:30 pm at St. Dominic Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be Monday, November 4th at 1:30 pm at Saint Dominic Catholic Church. A reception will immediately follow the Mass at the VFW Post 501, 4747 Colfax Avenue, Denver, CO 80204. Private family inurnment will be at Ft. Logan National Cemetery.
