Survived by 9 children: Teresa Cano, Ernestine Ortega, Victoria Chavez, Donna Prado, Daniel Chavez, Diana Chavez, Ernest Chavez, Jr., Ramona Valdez, Christopher Chavez; 30 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild. Viewing will be on Friday, July 20, 2007 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM both at Newcomer Family Chapel West, 901 S. Sheridan Blvd., Lakewood, CO 80226; Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 21, 2007 at Notre Dame Catholic Church, 2190 S. Sheridan Blvd., Denver, CO 80219.
