Frances Irene Hansen was born on December 19, 1928 in Wellsville, Kansas to Francis A. Pool and Bessie Pool. At an early age she moved to Colorado Springs, Due to her father's health. she graduated from Colorado Springs High School in 1947.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Bessie and a sister, Betty Hains.
She is survived by her brother Bill Pool, her daughter, Paula (Michael) Monroe of Redlands, CA, her son, Mark Hansen of Aurora, CO, 3 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
