Frances Lucero

Frances Lucero, age 66, of Denver, Colorado passed away May 31, 2014.

She was born September 13, 1947, in Alamosa, Colorado, the daughter of Joe A. and Rose E. Lucero. She was one of fourteen children.

Frances was preceded in death by her Husband, Joe F. Cardenas Sr.; Father, Joe A. Lucero; Mother, Rose E. Lucero; Siblings, Dave Lucero, Dorothy Gallegos, Richard Lucero, and Danny Lucero.

Survivors include her Sons, Joe F. (Melissa) Cardenas Jr. and Julian (Gina) Cardenas; Siblings, Frank Lucero, Alice Cardenas, Doris Herrera, Dora Duran, Marcella Ocana, Pauline Gonzalez, Janice Romero, Darlene Rodriguez, Rosanne Romero; Three Grandchildren, Stephanie, Danelle, and Jennifer; and Two Great Grandchildren.

She enjoyed her kids and family, and taking care of others. Frances had an unconditional love for her sons. She took great pride in helping to raise her granddaughter Stephanie to be a wonderful young woman. And she loved to watch football. She also loved her grandchildren and grand-dog, Alvin. Her ambition was to feed the world. Anyone who knew Frances, knew of her big heart and compassion for everyone. She would always go out of her way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. Frances is loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
