Frances P. Davis

[Emma] Frances Pridgen Davis was born March 17, 1919 in Leesburg, Alabama, joining her parents, Norma Lee and Elbert Mabry Pridgen and two brothers, Randy & Gene, as well as her full-blooded Cherokee maternal grandmother.

After moving to Phoenix, Arizona prior to Fran's senior year of high school, soon after graduation she met Glenn Davis of Ames, Iowa, whom she dated and at 20 eloped with to Wickenburg, Arizona. Glenn passed away in their 66th year of marriage in 2005.

Fran is survived by their three children Larry [& Mary] of Lakewood, CO, Jan of Hermosa Beach, CA and Hal of Grass Valley, CA.

Fran's grandchildren are Todd Davis, Stephanie Davis [Greg] Cox, Roxanne Ruble [Mike] Papajohn and Scott [Beth] Davis; great grandchildren Brandon Davis Chang, Caiden, Cameron and Christian Cox, Mariah Ruble and Loken Papajohn, Rachel & Cooper Davis, Taylor Davis [Melissa] Loomis and Taelor and Tyler Davis; nieces and nephews Norma Coulter, Linda Sleighter, Becky [Ron] Tucker, Randy [Beverly] Pridgen and Don [Helen] Urban.

Fran enjoyed bowling, gardening and, especially, her family and friends who honor her spirit, life and lessons.
