Frances W. Bowman , 102, of Aurora, passed away February 24, 2016.
She was born July 16, 1913 in Las Animas, Colorado, the daughter of Andres and Rosita (Vigil) Whatley.
She was first married to Roy Martinez who preceded her in death. She then married William Leroy Bowman on April 5, 1972.
Frances was a longtime member of Presentation of Our Lady Catholic Church. Frances liked to go fishing and camping. She enjoyed needlepoint and painting ceramics.
Frances is survived by Four Daughters, Julia DuVall, Dorothy M. (Demetrio Joe) Gomez, Loretta C. (Joseph C.) Mondragon and Joy Romero and Many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She is preceded in death by First Husband, Roy Martine, Second Husband, William Leroy Bowman; Father, Andres Whatley; Mother, Rosita Whatley; Son, George Martinez; Three Daughters, Frances Sandoval, Patricia Padilla, and Susan Martinez and Numerous sisters and brothers.
