Frank Lagana, 70, of Denver, passed away March 29, 2017.
He was born February 20, 1947 in Brooklyn, New York, the son of John and Diana (Abrami) Lagana.
He was a graduate of Lincoln High School. He graduated from City University of New York and attended graduate school at the New School for Social Research.
Frank was a member of the American Anthropologist Association, American Society for the Advancement of Science, Society for Anthropology in Community Colleges and various political organizations.
Frank enjoyed listening to music and playing his banjo. He was a train enthusiast and belonged to many train history organizations. Frank loved Jamaica almost as much as Brooklyn. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandson.
Frank is survived by his wife, Sharron "Charlie" Soule; Daughter, Maya (Nathan Ness) Lagana; Grandchild, Bennett Ness; Sister, Amy (Eric) Aviles; and Various cousins and nieces.
He is preceded in death by Father, John Lagana and Mother, Diana Lagana.
