Gomez, Frank S. "Konko", 70, of Denver, Colorado, formerly of Ft. Lupton, Colorado, passed away Friday, May 24, 2013.
He was born to Margaret C. Gomez and the late Frank Y. Gomez, April 4, 1943. Frank graduated from Ft. Lupton High School in 1963. He married Marcela Aerts of Wattenberg, Colorado and they lived in Ft. Lupton, and then relocated to Denver in 1969.
Frank was employed in woodworking, cabinetry for 10 years. Later, he worked as a dedicated employee for Denver Public Schools as a custodian for 25 ½ years before retiring in 2009.
In retirement, he enjoyed cooking, morning walks, fishing, playing the guitar, "going up to the hills" and his family.
Frank is survived by his wife, Marcela; son, Anthony; daughter, Valerie (Steve); grandson, Tyler; mother, Margaret; brothers, Fred and Bob; sisters, Irene and Sandy.
