Frederick Neal Steele, 72, of Aurora, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2015 after a 10 year battle with cancer.
He was born to Lester and Ruth Steele on July 25, 1942 in Englewood, Colorado. As one of seven boys Freddy was the third oldest boy. He married Margaret Susanne in 1963. They lived together in Aurora, Colorado for 48 years.
Freddy was a member of the Boilermakers Union Local 101 for 34 years. He worked in the Hall as the Business Administrator for 12 years.
Freddy is survived by two children: Matthew and Mark and their wives Julie and Terrie. He is also survived by four grandchildren: Morgan, Tyler, Dustin and Danielle, one great-grandchild, Aftyn and four brothers Buddy, Les, Rod and Butch. He is preceded in death by his parents Lester and Ruth, wife Susanne and brothers Larry and Monte Steele.
Freddy dearly loved his pets Midge, Isabel, Benny and Petey. He and Susanne loved to travel to Las Vegas and Central City as often as possible.
Services will be held at New Hope Community Church in Aurora on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at 2pm.
