April 17, 1951 — March 13, 2014

Gail "Scott" Nawls, 62, of Denver was born in Chicago, IL. on April 17, 1951 to Ethelrine "Susie" Nawls and the late Arthur Nawls. He attended the University of Notre Dame and served in the United States Air Force for 11 years. He continued his career as a civil service employee; retiring after 34 years in 2007.

Gail enjoyed reading comic books and science fiction novels. He loved his video games, old western t.v. shows, long talks with his brother Keith and spending time with his daughters, grandchildren, family and friends.

Gail quietly passed into Glory on the evening of March 13, 2014 at home. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother; Ethelrine "Susie" Nawls of Illinois, three daughters; Ericka Nawls-Robinson of Colorado, Adrienne Baile of Florida and Tanya Terrell of Colorado; A brother, Keith Nawls and Sister-in-law Carla of Colorado; three sisters, Elma Graves of Mississippi, Jean Nawls of Illinois and Karen Neely of Illinois, two granddaughters and 7 nieces and nephews.
