Garfield Victor Ramirez

69, of Littleton, Colorado passed away October 5, 2012 in Littleton, Colorado. Born August 6, 1943 in Rouse, Colorado. He is survived by his loving children Victor Ramirez (Robert) , Torrey Ramirez (Jackie) and Sara Garcia (Leon); grandchildren Torrey Ramirez Jr., Brooke Garcia and expected grandson, Great-grand-daughter Jaylee Padilla, mother Della Ramirez, sisters Florine and Gloria (Dave)Espinoza, brother Stan (Cathy) Ramirez, numerous nieces, nephews, family members and special friends Dawn and her family.

Preceded in death by loving son Soilo Ramirez and father Rudolph Ramirez.
Garfield was a very proud father and grandfather. He had a very special love for his grandchildren and great grand-daughter. He served our country in Vietnam 1967-1969. He was most proud of being able to serve in the Army. His medals he received include the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnamese Service Medal, Vietnamese Campaign Medal, Combat Infantrymen Badge, Purple Heart w/1OLC, Army Commendation Medal and a Good Conduct Medal.

He was a loving father, brother, son, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He was very proud of his classic cars, garden, lawn and loved just tinkering in his garage. He loved his mother and father and he was their caretaker until his father passed and has been his mother's caretaker until he passed. Garfield will be missed dearly; a very unselfish man with a very big heart. Heaven has truly received an angel from this earth. Dad we love you and keep you close to our hearts forever.

Honorary Pallbearers include: David Espinoza, Torrey Ramirez Jr., Henry and Brooke Garcia, Brian and Jaylee Padilla and all of his nieces and nephews.
