Gary D. Blue

Gary Dean Blue of Aurora, CO passed away on January 6, 2016, at 79 years old.

Gary was born in Kearney, NE on February 9, 1937, to Chester and Aleeta Blue, and was the youngest of five children. He shared the same birthday with his brother Lyle and Sister in Law Ruth.

Gary is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Janelle, daughter Camille, son Mark and daughter-in-law Jane, and granddaughter Demetria.

Gary and Janelle owned several businesses including restaurants in Nebraska, the flower shop in the CSU Student Union Building and Blue Floral in Fort Collins. They moved to Aurora in 1993 and assumed ownership of the Calla Lily floral shop where they worked together until closing the business in 2015.

In memory of Gary, his family encourages each and every one of you to live your life to the fullest, deepen your faith in God, and to believe in the American dream of forging ahead and making the best of everything that comes your way.
