Gary B. Martinez , 56, of Lakewood, passed away November 16, 2017.
He was born September 3, 1961 in Denver, Colorado, the son of Gilbert and Mary (O'Blea) Martinez.
He was a graduate of Alameda High School.
On May 12, 1990, he married Catherine Roybal.
Gary was an avid fisherman and hunter and loved to play pool. He also enjoyed building a bonfire in his own backyard and inviting his friends and family to spend time with him.
Gary is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Catherine Martinez; son, Garrett Martinez; Daughter, Miranda Martinez;
sister, Sandra (Bob) Mondragon; two brothers, Stan (Jeannie) Martinez and Ted Martinez; many nieces, nephews and extended family and a host of friends.
He is preceded in death by father, Gilbert Martinez; mother, Mary Martinez and three brothers, Kenny Martinez, Rick Martinez and Gilbert Martinez, Jr.
