Gene Norvel King was born in Lawton, OK in 1944, and moved with his family to Denver, Colorado in 1947. He worked for several years at the Denver Post and Denver International Airport.
He was preceded in death by his brother Bennie A. (Bean) King, and leaves to cherish his memory, his mother Katherine (Bean) Adams, brother Raheem (Dwaune) Rasheed, nephew Ahmad Gilchrist and nieces Carol Ann Cohen and Lea K. Bean. He will also be fondly remembered by a long list of cousins, other family and friends.
