George Conover Bilsborrow Jr.

George Conover Bilsborrow Jr., 74, of Northglenn, passed away March 19, 2016.

He was born January 6, 1942 in Denver, Colorado, the son of George and Genevieve (Jacques) Bilsborrow.

He was a graduate of North High School. He received his Associates Degree from University of Colorado-Boulder .

On September 28, 1966, he married Margaret "Margo" Sands.

George loved fly fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed tying his own flies while fishing. He will be remembered as a great cook. "The Chew" was one of his favorite shows. He loved his dogs. Above all, he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who put the welfare of his family first.

George is survived by his wife of 49 1/2 years, Margo Bilsborrow; Daughter, Moira L. (fiancé Sean Wilson) Bilsborrow; Son, Stewart Bilsborrow; Five Grandchildren, Daniel Taylor, Zachary Osborne, Alex Escalera, Jason Escalera and Kadin Bilsborrow; Three Great-Grandchildren, Kian Taylor, Kamden Osborne and Laylah Osborne; and Several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by Father, George Conover Bilsborrow, Sr., Mother, Genevieve Bilsborrow and Sister, Jacquelyn Straub.
