George Sidney Mobley, a beloved husband, brother, and friend, passed away on July 18, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on July 1, 1949, in Rangely, Colorado, George lived a full life defined by his spirit of adventure and a deep-seated love for the great outdoors.

After serving his country honorably in the Army during the Vietnam War, George returned home to forge a career as a heavy equipment operator. His unwavering work ethic and commitment to excellence were hallmarks of his professional life. Alongside this demanding role, he also found fulfillment in driving a pilot car, guiding others safely through their journeys.

George was a man of contrasts; he possessed a rough exterior yet held a kind and gentle heart beneath. Those who had the privilege of knowing him understood that he would go above and beyond for his friends, always ready with a helping hand or a listening ear. His loyalty and selflessness were qualities that endeared him to many.
