George Telesforo Medina

George Telesforo Medina, of Aurora, Co passed away on July 26, 2014. Born January 5, 1929 in Starkville, CO to Jose Atilano Medina and Soraida (Sanchez) Medina, George enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Corps in 1947. After 22 years of honorable service to his country, George retired as a Master Sergeant from the U.S. Air Force in 1969. His Career included postings in Alaska, France, Bolivia, Honduras and a number of bases in the U.S. Upon retirement from the Air Force, George worked for Public Service Company of Colorado, retiring in 1991.

George was preceded in death by his beloved bride of 58 years, MaryAnn (Martinez) Medina. He is survived by his daughter, Jorgi, sons Tom (Joanne), George (Emelita), Bob (Ana), 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. In addition, he is survived by his brother, 2 sisters, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
