Gerald F. Collins

Jerry was born in San Francisco, CA on July 30, 1956 to John & Helen Collins. Jerry was the youngest of 7 and a twin. Jerry leaves behind 6 surviving family members: mother Helen; siblings, Robert, Marilyn, Kate, Helen, and Jimmy (his twin brother). Jerry graduated from Alameda High School in 1974. He was a fun loving guy who enjoyed fishing, rock climbing & repelling, and traveling. He was a very kind, compassionate and caring brother and friend of many. Jerry worked as a roofer and most recently at Wellshire Golf Course. Services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 901 S. Sheridan Blvd in Lakewood, on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at 11am.
